Thinking... [A dangerous pastime, I know!]

While I was at the fair last weekend, it was suggested to me that perhaps I look into doing prints of some of my shots to sell. Perhaps even at the fair next year. However, I have no idea how to go about doing something like that. I would imagine I would need some sort of money in order to be able to afford printing things to show and I'd have to supply high quality prints in nice frames or on canvas.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Or even just a huge NO saying I shouldn't try to sell them? I would love to share shots if people would really like them. I just don't know how I would go about raising the funds to get some to display. I'm not even sure if they are of selling quality...

Any thoughts? Or any idea who would be able to help?

Thanks!

Weekend Adventure!

Hi!

I was able to travel with one of my best friends this weekend and it was a lovely break from everything. I even got in some really nice shots. I liked these the most, so I wanted to share them with you! :) Let me know what you think!

My friend commented on how she would never think to take pictures of things like wheels propped against a wall, but they were calling my name. I love it!

This was TOTALLY by accident! But definitely one of my favorites!

GORGEOUS.

Tweaked a little on my laptop, but I still really like it a lot.

This is her yard. I'm so JEALOUS.

SKYYYYY.

"We're real tree huggers now!"

I had the most amazing session this morning at 8 am with two awesome girls here. I really think that I learned an important lesson about day light and how much a difference in the time of day can affect my pictures. A lot of these I didn't have to adjust much on because they were already so vibrant and well lit. I've definitely learned my lesson!

It's a lot of pictures, but bear with me. I think they're fun. These girls wouldn't stop laughing and we had such a good time figuring it all out together. (:  I would do it again (and hope to) in a heart beat!

Oh climbing in the tree.... such an adventure...

So funny. These girls are so sweet. I can't wait for their recital!

This shot is NOT edited at all! Isn't the color phenomenal?!

I LOVE SUN FLARE. (:

Probably one of my favorites from the whole day. I loved the brick and the water. This one is also fairly unedited color wise--only messed with their eyes.

Her face itched. They're such good friends!

I can't decide if I like the B&W or color better...

"MODEL POSE!"

Something about this shot makes me so happy...

Again, I love the glare off the water. I know it's not great technically but I LOVE it.

Splashing... (:

I love this. They couldn't stop all morning. It was the best part about shooting them.

I had such an amazing time and it was an awesome experience. I hope to do more shoots for people here--headshots, posters, etc, even couple shoots or something. I'd love that. So hopefully I will!  There's so many beautiful places here. I want to just shoot at them all! I love doing this. Even if it's just a hobby. It's such a gift.

Let me know what you think,

Poster Pic Preview!

Just wanted to put a few shots out there for those who follow my blog to get a taste of the shoot I had this morning. It was ridiculously fun and I feel as if my natural light shooting has gotten a lot better. :) I'm really quite proud of it.

Here's a few shots to enjoy...

Playing with a filter in my software. (:

Probably my favorite shot from today. (:

They're so cute. I love them both!

So far, they love the shots I've shared with them. I can't wait to see which they use for their posters. Good luck girls!
